Student moving to Canada from US with illegal status?
I'm international student from Turkmenistan in USA. However, last week got denied my reinstatement even if i'm in new college. I was thinking to transfer to Ottawa university in Canada with my not valid student status in US. The bad part is there is NO Canadian Embassy in Turkmenistan but i really want move and study there. What should i do? Is there chance to receive Canadian student visa? I would go home but how can i obtain Canadian visa without the embassy?

You must return to your own country immediately and urgently. Canada has serious objections to those who violate other countries' immigration laws & visa regulations. Overstaying in US could well keep you out of Canada. Get going & get home fast. Then start applying to colleges, etc. BTW, fouling up school in the US is probably going to keep you out of Canadian colleges. You'd better get your butt back home before you land in really big trouble.

You did not tell us the ONE thing that actually matters....Your nationality. See site below. If your home country is on the Visa Waiver List, you may visit the U.S. for up to 90 days without a visa. If your home country is not on that list, you must have a B-2 tourist visa to visit the U.S. See info for that on same page. Your visa in Canada has nothing to so with visiting the Ul=.S.

There are a few formalities to be done and a consultant can guide you appropriately like the Goldman Associates (http://immigrationtocanada.org/)

Apply to the university first. As an international student you pay full fees, about double what the locals pay. You have to show that you have enough to pay fees and living for the first year, on arrival and you are strictly limited in where and how much you can work for pay.

Permanent resident status To become a Canadian citizen, you must have permanent resident status in Canada, and that status must not be in doubt. More than 130,000 students come to study in Canada every year and even more come to Canada to learn English or French. Foreign students bring a rich culture to our classrooms. Your knowledge and skills are welcome in our schools. The provinces regulate education and schools in Canada. For more detailed information on living and studying in a specific province or territory, contact the school where you wish to study. To study in Canada, you may need a study permit or a temporary resident visa, though not everyone must have these documents.

Well first you would need to either get accepted to a Canadian school or hired by a Canadian employer. After that you can apply for a visa. Just go to www.cic.gc.ca for exactly what you're required to do.
3 :
Firstly you should have a school, in the case of student/employer as in the case of work to accept you. Then you're going to apply for the respective visa in the nearest Canadian Embassy/Consulate. The process may take months.
