How does Student Welfare in Canada work? Can I apply if I get government student loans?
I was just wondering how Student Welfare works... If I have a student loan from a province (like, Alberta) and I go to school and currently live in Ontario, would it possible for me to receive student welfare? And if so, for what province do I apply? And, how does it work? Thanks!

Are there any banks in CANADA that will give out student loans?
I need about $20,000 to pay for my graduate degree and so far all the banks I've looked at only give out loans to students studying in Canada....but I'm studying in the US. Any suggestions? Also I prefer not to have a cosigner.

Can I renew my student visa without leaving Canada?
Can I renew my student visa without leaving Canada?
My student visa will expire in the coming Christmas I'm taking a summer term at the moment and want to take at least 2 more terms before I leave Canada, so can I do it? I don't wanna spend the 4 fall/winter months in my country doing nothing and wasting time.

Can I be rejected a student visa in Canada if I have a family member citizen there?
Can I be rejected a student visa in Canada if I have a family member citizen there?
I am over 25 yo, the only brother I have lives in Canada and he's a canadian citizen. I guess I can't apply for a family visa due to the age limitations. If I want to come and study in Canada, so I would get a student visa, can a consulate reject my student visa because I have a family member living there? Is that a legit reason? Any other ways to reunite with my family?
