Can I move to Canada if I have student loans to pay off in the US?
I am planning on moving to canada when I am done with school and was wondering how I would go about paying off my student loans from the US? Can I just pay it normally or are there any random laws I need to know about? I would also like to continue my education in canada.

Actually my dear I do believe the government (Canada's) will help you anyway it can... and just for the record my dear... If you ever need to know about Canada's services for such things just visit "service Canada" they will provide you with everything from employment to training to education...

The answer would seem to be no. Citizenship & Immigration Canada doesn't seem to take existing debt into account. As a student, I'd say that your best bet is applying for a Student Visa. (And also a Student Work Permit if you'll need to find work to pay your bills while you're here.) The reason I'm recommending you go this route is because there's a special system for people who've graduated from Canadian schools and/or have work experience here. It's called Canadian Experience Class, and here's the link that explains it: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/index.asp Back when the earth was young, I went to University of Waterloo. I mention this because thousands of students from around the world study there. Your debts will show up on a background check. You are unlikely to get any funding or loan in Canada as you would be an international student.

You can indeed apply for Canadian immigration while owing money in the USA> However, this does not mean you can get away with not paying the loans. Canada uses the same credit agencies as the USA and the data is on the same servers for both countries. Your US credit follows you to Canada if it is negative. But not if it is positive. As well, US lenders have no problem going after US deadbeats who have moved to Canada. Canada will allow them to use legal means to collect from you. It is common for engineers and the like from Asia and the Middle East, even with a PhD, to be taxi drivers or parking lot attendants. It is likely your degree will only be recognized if it is from the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand or Northwestern Europe. Regardless, after a fast start Canada’s recovery from the recession has slowed down and it is very difficult to find a job in Canada. It will be easier when you see that Canada’s unemployment rate is below 6%. Do note that it is not possible to live in Canada by yourself or support a family with a minimum wage job.

Can a US international student visit Canada?
I'm currently an International Student who are studying aboard in US. So Do i have to have a visa to travel to Canada for visiting. I miss my love in Canada so much I cant wait until i come back to my home country this summer (myhome country isnt canada)

It depends are you just visiting Canada or do you plan to spend a long time here, but you can come visit if you have your passport to show identification but you will need a Visa to spend a long time( months) here it will have to be Canadian. Hope you enjoy your visit if you come and enjoy your summer back in your home country too!

How Do I move to canada as a student? What do i need to do? and how do i move to canada if i dont enroll in a university first? what would i need to apply for and what else would i need to do? please break it down for me i dont know all the step.

Can I be rejected a student visa in Canada if I have a family member citizen there?
Can I be rejected a student visa in Canada if I have a family member citizen there?
I am over 25 yo, the only brother I have lives in Canada and he's a canadian citizen. I guess I can't apply for a family visa due to the age limitations. If I want to come and study in Canada, so I would get a student visa, can a consulate reject my student visa because I have a family member living there? Is that a legit reason? Any other ways to reunite with my family?
