Is entering US from Canada for F-1 student who has been arrested?
I am an F-1 student and I was arrested once in the US for a misdemeanor charge. The case was dismissed and sealed. I have a certificate that says so. Whenever I enter the US at JFK I am taken to a room and they ask to see the paperwork and everything is fine after that. I am planning on traveling to Vancouver. I know that the US custom is at the Vancouver airport and I won't go through it at JFK. Would they be able to validate the paperwork and let me into the US? Would there be any problems? Yes, they can admit you as a student if they find no reason not to. If you were admitted at JFK after the explanation, there is no reason to be denied entry at VCV.

If Immigration at JFK has allowed you to return, I can't imagine why you'd be denied at a different immigration checkpoint. Bring your passport, of course, to show that you've been admitted to the US after the arrest and you should be fine.

Each and EVERY time you apply for admission to the United States, it is up to the alien to prove that they are admissible. That is the law under the Immigration and Naturalization Act (INA) aka Title 8.
