It depends on your citizenship whether you will need to get a visa prior to travel. Citizens of the following countries do not need a visa for a stay of up to 90 days in Switzerland as tourists or business visitors without performing remunerative activities: Albania¹, Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Bosnia & Herzegovina¹, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, FYROMacedonia¹, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong (SAR), Iceland, Israel, Japan, Liechtenstein, Macao (SAR), Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro¹, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Saint Kitts and Nevis, San Marino, Serbia¹, Seychelles, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan³, United States of America, Uruguay, Vatican City, or Venezuela [¹ = e-passport required; ³ = passport must contain ID card number]. Should your country not be named you will need to apply for a visa for Switzerland at the Swiss Consulate General which covers your province or territory of residence: • Montreal http://www.eda.admin.ch/eda/en/home/reps/nameri/vcan/canmon.html .. Provinces of Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as the Bahamas • Toronto http://www.eda.admin.ch/eda/en/home/reps/nameri/vcan/cantor.html .. Provinces of Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Territory of Nunavut • Vancouver http://www.eda.admin.ch/eda/en/home/reps/nameri/vcan/canvan.html ..
