I'm planning to study in Canada as an international student, what is the best IT college in Canada?
I have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology and I'd like to have a post grad diploma in Canada in able to enhance my chosen field. I'm currently seeking for a college that offers an IT training/program which tuition fee is not higher than C$20K.

There are no universities that offer graduate programmes for less than $20K/year. In terms of unis though, the University of Waterloo is famous for its computer programmes. If you wish to study at a college rather than a university, I'd suggest Seneca College. It has many specific programmes to choose from and is one of the better known colleges. However, I'm not sure if its studies are more advanced than your bachelor's. http://www.senecac.on.ca/programs.html

You need to attend a university.....not a college.Colleges offer diplomas......only universities offer degrees.

You don't need to do anything with your visa as long as you get accepted. Since you are already in post-secondary education, you are free to change schools/institutes as long as your study permit is valid.

It turns out Ken is right - he really should have used a link as proof. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/faq/study/study-faq13.asp However, if you are enrolled in a post-secondary program (doing studies after the high school level), you may change your school, level, program and field of studies without applying for a new study permit. You donĂ¢€™t need to apply for a change to the condition of your study permit either. You may continue to use your study permit as long as it is valid.

Student migrating to canada from united states?

Student migrating to canada from united states?
Hey guys/gals I'm currently a student in united states and have been accepted to a Canadian unveristy to do biomedical engineering and was wondering: can I submit my student vista without submitting my police check at the same time? From what I read the police check can take quiet a bit of time so I'm not sure if I should wait for it to come before I submit my visa application. Thanks!

I wouldn't think it would matter since they won't process the visa application till the police check is in. Personally, I'd hold on and submit them both at the same time so that things don't get lost in the process.
2 :
Check with the international student office at your school.

you probably already know this site but if not maybe worth a search http://www.cic.gc.ca for that detail. Being government I would tend to keep it all together as a package.. zippy do dah its through. If things get stopped, and sent back and resubmitted you may end up further behind. BME is an exciting field...

Can a foreign student going to school Canada visit the USA?

Can a foreign student going to school Canada visit the USA?
I have a friend who just started college in Canada from another country. She would like to be able to visit the US while she is in school. Can she do that? If yes, how?

Yes, with a passport...
2 :
The entry requirements vary according to nationality. If she is from western Europe or a few other countries she may be able to visit without a visa: http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/temp/without/without_1261.html If not she has to apply for a regular tourist visa. She should check first with the college's office of international students as they may be able to help her get a visa to the USA: http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1265.html
3 :
Does she have a valid passport? Is she from a country that requires a US visa?
4 :
call the usa consular offices or go in in person....and ask them direct... it all depends which passport your friend holds...bon voyage
