foreign student in US or canada getting drivers permit or licence?
in the bahamas you have to be 17 for a permit or licence. If i moved to canada or the states and was a student...would i be able to get a permit?

My Nephew didn't have any problem getting one, when he was here from Japan and going to the Univ of Texas. All states may not be the same however, for foreign students.

As long as you meet the minimum age requirements for that State/Province/Territory you would be able.

Yes, but you have to be living in that state.
