If after coming as a student to Canada I apply asylum and my application is denied may I lose student status?

If after coming as a student to Canada I apply asylum and my application is denied may I lose student status?
If I come as a full time student to Canada and after arriving apply to asylum and my application will be denied may I lost my student status? May I have chance to graduate my school after negative Court's desigion and after graduation to apply for a skilled worker/or similar immigration/work program inside of Canada?

it is possible - yes. to be eligible to be a student you need to have lots of money to support yourself as you are NOT eligible to use the health system. If you have lots of money then you are NOT a refugee. refugees flee with nothing but the clothes on their backs and maybe one suitcase. The above statement is my opinion, And the statement below is Fact - and Canadian LAW Under Canadian laws, you should have reqested asylum in the first western country you arrived in (by plane or walking). If you did not do that then you are not eligible for refugee status in Canada.

Hi, Asylum cases depend on what ground you are applying and what proof you have. I think you should concentrate on your studies. Do not waste money on such ideas and after graduation do job and apply for immigration. Correct way is the good way. Sidwell is correct. Since there are VERY few refugee generating countries where refugees arrive directly from that country to Canada, there are much less opportunities for refugees to be accepted to CAnada than there used to be.
