Student visa in Canada is ending, how do I switch to a visitor's visa to stay for a few more months?
My girlfriend's student visa in Canada expires end of this February and she wants to stay a couple of more months for travel etc. The question is, where to I go to start this process? Do i have to apply it outside of Canada? Or any visa office in Vancouver is fine? Thank you

She should be able to extend her visa. This link should help.

I would contact the embassy/consulate of her country of origin in Vancouver. She should be able to apply from within the country no problem. Check out the link for a full list.
